My device is ATTACHED and is trying to initiate a data session, but does not go ONLINE?

If your device status is showing as ATTACHED and you are now trying to initiate a data session, but the status does not change to ONLINE, then check the following:

  • Check that you have the right APN settings in your device: the APN name must be set as 'sap'. Username and password are not required
  • Check that roaming is allowed by your device settings
  • Check that your device does not have a “SIM lock” that limits its use to a specific operator.
